Managing Principal

Blanding has more than seventeen years of real estate investment management experience ranging across multiple product types and geographies. The last eight years have been in the seniors housing industry focused on acquisitions and developments for private pay communities in the southeastern United States. Formerly, he was a Director of Real Assets for Arlington Family Offices. In his role, he was responsible for investment identification, due diligence and portfolio monitoring with a focus on Real Estate for the $2 Billion multifamily office. Blanding attended Southern Methodist University and received his Bachelor of Arts in Finance and History from the University of Tennessee.

Andrew Case oversees the asset management, investor relations, and accounting functions for Winterpast Capital Partners. He recently served as Chief Financial Officer for Vitality Living, a joint venture operating partner of Winterpast Capital Partners. Andrew has over 16 years of real estate investment and asset management experience. Prior to joining Winterpast, he served as Director of Asset Management for Harbert Management Corporation’s Real Estate Private Equity Funds. Andrew started his career at KPMG LLP working in their Mergers & Acquisitions Practice. Andrew received his Master of Accountancy and Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from the University of Tennessee. He also holds his Certified Public Accountant license (inactive).

Rob is responsible for leading all phases of the development cycle at Winterpast Capital including sourcing new opportunities, entitlement, design, construction, and lease-up. Prior to Winterpast Capital, Rob worked at Avenida Senior Living serving as a Regional Development Manager and overseeing the development of over 1,000 Active Adult units with a total development cost of over $230MM. Rob graduated from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management degree and is an active member of Urban Land Institute.

Managing Director of Acquisitions

Pettus Randall has more than eight years of real estate acquisition and development experience. As Partner at privately held CSP Development Group, Pettus executed acquisitions and developments in multi-family, commercial and retail projects. Pettus started his career in finance at Merrill Lynch Investment Banking and Harbert Private Equity, executing over $1 Billion in transactions during his tenure. Pettus received his Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy at Princeton University, Master of Studies in History at Oxford University and MBA at Stanford University Graduate School of Business.

Ben Spears has over two years of experience in real estate acquisition, development and asset management. He is a graduate of the Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee where he completed a double major in Finance and Supply Chain Management.

Director of Investments

James is responsible for sourcing new development and acquisition opportunities at Winterpast. Prior to joining Winterpast, James spent 5 years working for a real estate investment firm as a financial analyst. During that time, he underwrote $120 Million in acquisitions and was responsible for various asset management and disposition strategies. James was also instrumental in revising the firm’s investor reporting process and annual company budgeting procedures. James graduated from the University of Alabama with a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Economics degree and received his Masters of Science in Finance degree from Vanderbilt University.
